Daddo Gears Up For Olympic Breakfasts

ANDREW Daddo will be doing the talking when he hosts the new Yum Cha morning program during the Beijing Olympics.
However he was expressing his appreciation for a Newcastle lad with the gift of the gab when he spoke to The Word.Daddo is also hosting The One television show, which featured Cardiff psychic Mitchell Coombes."I was really disappointed he was voted off," Daddo said of Coombes. "He can talk and talk and talk."Daddo will begin hosting Yum Cha for Prime on August 9.The 9.30am show will be a panel program in which Daddo will call on guests to join him in commenting on daily events at the games.Daddo hosted a similar program, Olympic Sunrise, during the Sydney games in 2000.The father of three is also a writer of children's books and has just released his latest novel Cheeky Monkey."I always test the books on my kids first," Daddo said. "If they don't say anything after I read it, then I know it's not good."Daddo writes his books on a laptop while he is travelling with The Great Outdoors.
